Can any one tell me about Sindhi community. Whether there are Scheduled castes/Scheduled tribes/OBCs in Sindhi Community
Like in other communities, I want to know about Sindhi Community have backward/scheduled castes/scheduled tribes castes
Poland has eastern Europe's first gurdwara:
[World News]: Warsaw, Oct 29 : Eastern Europe's first gurdwara here is abuzz with activity with daily prayers on all days and community meals called langars every Sunday attracting large numbers of Sindhi devotees. It was only earlier this year that the Polish government gave the Indian community permission to open a gurdwara, but the Sikh temple has already taken off in a big way.
It was a challenge for the small Sikh community, which consists of only a dozen families, to take the initiative and persuade other Indians, particularly the majority Sindhi community, to contribute funds to start a proper gurdwara.
J.J. Singh, president of the Indian Association, had to make a few trips to Amritsar to get proper material and religious teachers. The Amritsar-based Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandak Committee responded by loaning four preachers to the gurdwara for two years.
With the initial hurdles crossed, the gurdwara is now functioning as a thriving centre of activity.
Sindhis, who also have faith in Guru Nanak's teachings though they don't wear turbans, have been flocking to the place of worship in large numbers.
Warsaw has more than 1,000 people of Indian origin, many of who have come from Dubai for their textile and electronic businesses. The gurdwara is in the city's Rashin area where about 70 percent of Sindhis have their businesses.

to SS Gill, i agree that the two religions are similar. diferences do appear however, if u search deeper into the meanings of both sikhi and Islam. islam preaches a message of their religion being a superior religion to all others and others are classed as Kafirs; sikhi does not preach this. it preaches every religion to be on the same level and all are a eans to acheive the one truth, that of waheguru, the one tru god

This posting is for the Hindu hating non-practicing Sikh. Tell me young man:
1. What percentage of the Bhagats were Hindus?
2. How many Gurus were direct decendents of Hindus?
3. Do you know anything about the brotherhood preached by Baba Nanak?
4. Is the name of RAM mentioned in the Granth more than 999 times or less than 999 times?
5. Are you really a Sikh or a fool pretending to be a Sikh?
6. Is it necessary to behave like an idiot in order to maintain your identity?

Hi Sonia!
Are you from Gurdaspur?
Is that supposed to be a trick question? No I do not live in Punjab.
DO YOU LIVE IN INDIA(NEAR JALLANDER)
I guess I am one of those coniving Hindu Sindhis mentioned by Taj, who has a picture of Baba Nanak flanked by two of his Chelas Bala and Mardana. The descendents of Mardana, who are Muslims live in Lahore, and guess what they still conduct Kirtan except now they perform Kirtan only when Sikh pilgrims visit Punjab or when invited by Sindhi devotees to perform Kirtan. Yes there are still Sindhis in Pakistan (2 million). There are two Guru Mandirs, with Granth Sahibs installed still operating in Karachi. Until mid 1980's Gurbani was sung on Pakistani Radios by a Sindhi. I live in USA, but in the early 1990's I visited these places. Sindhis also do Seva at Nankana Sahib and other Gurdwaras. About 10 to 20 percent of Sindhis are Khalsa (turban etc.) mostly in Northern India, but few in Bombay and a small Sindhi Khalsa community in Chicago. The rest are Nanakpanthi Hindus (sometimes called Shesdharis Sikh by other Sikhs) or spiritual heirs of Bala. Was Bala a Khalsa? No he was a Hindu chela of Baba Nanak (Hindu Lok Ka Guru, Mussalman Log ka Pir). Most of the Sindhi places of worship in Bombay are actually Guru Mandirs with reading of Granth Sahib...etc. Our rituals are different---older rituals that preceed Guru Gobind Singh. Before distribution of the Kara Prasad we throw rose petals at the Granth Sahib. The term "Wahe Group Kee Khalsa, Wahe Guru Kee Fateh" are not mentioned. The priests are mostly clean shaven and wear caps. Yes, we have Akhand Path etc. in our houses, but we also celebrate Hindu festivals.
So what connection do the Sindhis have with Sikhism? There are several recorded connections between the Sindhis and our Gurus. I will detail one instance today.
An older Sindhi man used to work in Guru Gobind Singh's army as support staff. After the battle he would go around the battlefield and give water to the wounded and dying. But he would give water to both Guru Gobind's soldiers and the Muslims. Some soldiers did not like this and complained to Guru Gobind Singh, who told him to continue giving water to the Muslims. When this man was ready to retire and return to Sindh, Guru Gobind Singh gave him a sword and a copy of The Granth Sahib. Then he told him to introduce the teaching of the Granth Sahib to the Sindhis and to infuse some courage in them. This man spent the rest of his life doing just that.
In New Delhi a Sindhi by the name of Dada Chellaram connected with Nij Thaw Guru Mandir recently translated the Granth into English, Sindhi and Hindi. He was honored both by SGPC and the Prime Minister.
FYI: A very small portion of the Granth is written in Sindhi.
Baba Nanak did not have a problem with Hindus and Muslims worshipping with him and neither should you.

I dont understand all this fuss about believing in one god or many gods or no gods.
Do two people fight each other because one believes in a round earth and the other in a flat earth?
Do two scientists fight each other because one believes in the big-bang theory and the other in the steady-state theory?
Then why should we fight each other just because some believe in one god and others in many gods? If we think deeply, are these beliefs any different from those mentioned above?

SINDHIS SIKHS PUNJABIS HINDUS HELLO PEOPLE WE ARE ALL INDIANS AND WE SHOULD BE VERY PROUD AND HAPPY THAT WE ALL COME FROM SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND INTERESTING CULTURE. I AM A 16 YEAR OLD SIKH GIRL LIVING IN THE UK. THE SIKH GURUS WERE HINDUS AND IN EFFECT WE SIKHS ARE ALSO HINDUS SO WHY THE BIG DEBATE ON THE SEPARATE PEOPLE - PUNJABI HINDUS AND SIKHS. THERE ARE SO MANY OF YOU OUT THERE WHO DONT LIKE MUSLIMS OR AS YOU WOULD SAY 'PAKIS'. THEN WHY ARENT YOU HAPPY BEING SOMEONE WHO IS NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM. YOU SHOULD BE VERY HAPPY WITH YOUR SIKH OR HINDU FRIENDS BECAUSE WE DO COME FROMB THE SAME ROOTS. WE ALL HAVE SIMILAR LIFESTYLES AND SHOULD LIVE AS COMPANIONS. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT YOU SHOULD GET MARRIED IN YOUR OWN RELIGION BECAUSE OF SMALL CULTURAL DIFFERENCES (LIKE PLACE OF WORSHIP) BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT I HATE PEOPLE OF A DIFFERENT RELIGION! I THINK SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE HINDUS AND WE HAVE MANY HINDU FAMILY FRIENDS. MY EX BEST FRIEND WAS A MUSLIM AND LIVED AND BELIEVED EXACTLY LIKE INDIANS. I AM GLAD THAT I AM A PERSON OF INDIAN ORIGIN BECAUSE THEY ARE KNOWN TO BE SO INTELLIGENT AND BEAUTIFUL. BE PROUD AND DONT MAKE YOUR FRIEND AN ENEMY.
ALL THE BEST TO EVERYBODY(AND I HAVE DEFINITELY NOTHING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO HAVE INTERRACIAL MARRIAGES OR RELATIONSHIPS)

Hello!
FYI! Let me Elaborate further on Sindhi's. Pre 1947 undivided India, Sindh province/state was just like Punjab.. But during partition Punjab was split in half but Sindh totally remained on the other side. Sindh was the only state that was fully sacrificed, All Sindhi's were scattered all over. Although, like few Punjabi speaking Muslims live in Punjab, Pakistan.
Same way there are some Sindhi Muslims in Sindh and Benazir Butto is one of them. In olden days Karachi which is in Sindh Province was considered to be one of the most Beautiful and Princely state in the whole world.. But that was when Hindu's and Sikh’s lived there.
But Actually Most Sindhi's you will find are followers of Guru. Over 75% of Sindhi's that consider them Indians are mainly followers of Guru Granth Sahib. Some of you will be surprised to know that Guru Granth Sahib is also available in Sindhi script. And there are a few Gurdwara's in India where the Pathi who is Sindhi wearing Turban .. There are some Sindhi Sardars too. I know one who speaks Sindhi but can only read and write Gurmukhi.
Most Sindhi's get married in a Gurdwara. But you want to know, why not all of them... Earlier, Pre 1947 when Sindh which is now in Pakistan had a majority of Hindu's and Sikhs.. That Sindh State had different Regions ... Sindhi's whose families are originally from Nothern Sindh are not followers of Guru.
Like in Punjab there are few Punjabi speaking Hindu's followers of Mata.

DO you people see Co-Relation between this:
------------------------------------------
Russia enters Afghanistan.
America starts giving Weapons to Pakistan,
Pakistan sells these Weapons to Afghanistan people who want to get rid of Russia, (Bin Laden is born),
Afghanistan hardcore people give Pakistan POPPY,
Pakistan gives this poppy to Many a couriers to sell in Europe and America,
Most poppy is also passed to Sikhs who have deep connections in Canada.
Poppy is sold in Canada,London,US etc.. Monies Generated are 100 times profit which Pakistan
uses to buy more Guns from USA.
Guns are than given 30% to Sikhs to forment trouble
and 70% to Afghanistan and the cycle continues.
India has blood bath of Khalistan on its streets.
Many people die. Russia is eventually thrown out.
The Killings in India stop. A need for Khalistan dissapears.
Is this TRUE or is this a Bloody COINCIDENCE!!

I know we are all humans at the end of the day,all religions teach the same values but we humans intepret differently, and most times wrongly.
I am a fully practising Sikh, and yet my wife is a Muslim from Iranian Sistaan Baluchistan. She has accepted without question the faith we practise in the home,Sikh.
She has found no difference in the prayers and the belive in ONE GOD,and feels that we as a human race appear to have created more difficulties through our own interpretations than the religions tell us.

It is truely a sad sikh diasphora, that sikhs and people who take the Sri Guru Granth Sahib as their guru or people who proudly profess to be sikhs, do not even understand or have taken the trouble to find out about the teachings of the sikh gurus, hindu bhagats and muslim sufi saints as taught by our guru, the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Before you write your hate stuff, please take a moment and read and absorb ou guru's philosophy.
Truly amazed by the shallowness and stupidity of my fellow sikhs who I would not even consider as sikhs

I came across this message board by chance and was stunned by the amount of hatred pouring out of people. Looking at what is happening in our country today, I think we are good at hating each other in the name of religion.
Talking about sindhis, I am one. My grandmother who lived in Sindh most of her life and died soon after partition, read the granth sahib and the gita and also had a sufi guru. The Sindhis of those days (unlike those of today) respected spirituality in all it forms, and therefore understood it in all its forms, rather than the language of hate that seems to have consumed most Indians of every religion today.
kill the muslim pakis i hate all pakis i hope the us blows pakistan off the map.
i would like to say abt the bladdy hindus and the bladdy rascal sikhs who abuse muslim :
Adhi raat nu chan charaya hinduwan / sikhan de mawan / pena nu laan waraya
thats the answer of the bladdy son of swine

Ok...for the record, there are some Sindhis who consider themselves to be Sikh, at least that more Sikh than Hindu. It's all in the way you've been brought up I guess. I'm Sindhi and I don't know Much about the Hindu Religion. But growing up I was taught all Sikhi "Prayers", taught to believe Ik Ong Kar, gone to the Gurudwara for my place of worship, believe in all the gurus...etc. From what I know, Sindhis tend to believe either in Vedic ways, Sikhi ways, or they follow Radha Swami. Like I said though, it just depends on how you were brought up, or what you've been exposed to. Sometimes Sindhis tend to mix the religions because of exposure to many of them, however in my own opinion I believe that to be rather contradictory.
But there is some information for you guys to ponder about...

You idiots have no clue about the Khalsa or Sikhism. You fools cant even define Hinduism! Next you idiots will be saying that the Christians and Jews are really Hindu!
Sikh Gurus rejected Hinduism dont you get that!
Punjabi.net
Dear Sir
Do not keep posting childish and abusive posts against this or that. Religions are not good or bad it is the people who practice them.
As for a definition of Hinduism, you have no business writing nonsense. If you want to read a definition please go to http://indiaculture.net
and look for Hinduism - an introduction under Faith and religions etc.
By getting your British or Canadian citizenship do you discard your past and wallah become a new born,The khalsa was an army to protect Hindustan and every eldest son of a Hindu family was enlisted to become a soldier...Why dont you thick skulled brainless cab driver get that in your single celled brains.
Just being born into a Hindu family, dont make you Hindu. Plus the Sikh Gurus rejected Hinduism so how can they be Hindu? Why worship stones, cows when you can worship the source directly. Worship God only!
Hi all,
All the Sikh Gurus were Hindus.Guru Nanak is supposed to be the desendant of Lord Shri Ram.Guru Gobind Singh borrowed the name Singh from the Rajputs who were a Kshatriya warrior race. The vedic name for Punjab is the 'Aryavartha' or the land of the Aryans. The Vedic literature and other sacred hindu writings which is the oldest and richest scriptures were written in ancient Punjab(Aryavartha). Long live India ......jai Hind !!! Kill the Pakis and the Taliban!!!
dear mr sindhi,
i know other sindhid who voice the same opinion too.
but U PEOPLE ARE MISTAKEN.
you people wiill pray to a painting of guru nanak dev ,and destroy there and then his advice against idolatory.
GURU NANAK DEV JI GAVE HUS GURGADDI TO GURU ANGED DEV JI BCOZ HE KNEW THAT HINDU SYTEM IS SO TOUGH TOI CHANGE THAT IT WOULD NEED JYOT TO CONTINUE.
you insulkt guru nanak by not recognising other gurus.
sindhis should follow sikhism in its true extent, then only you can claim to be followers of guru nanak.
whern guru gobind singh ji demanded guts on baisakhi
it was to prove this poiint only
that either u have a full faith or u have none.
there is no place for in betweens.
Its funny how Hindu Brahmins want to claim Guru Nanak as their own. Guru Nanak was born to Hindu KHATRI parents!!
This is to everone out there talking about Sikhism, Sindhis, idol worship etc.
I am Sikh by birth and proud of it. My grandparents are Sikhs as well as Hindus. For everyone out there, Guru Nanak was a Hindu Brahmin. Sikhism was born out of Hindusim and the Guru Granth Sahib refers to god as RAM.
Moreover, Guru Gobind Singh started the Khalsa sect to protect Hindus from Mughal/Muslim forced conversions. In essence, Sikhs are the martial race of Hindus.
Sindhis are followers of Guru Nanak. The only difference between them and Khalsa is that they do not wear turbans etc.
It makes me sick to see some ignorant Sikhs trying to bash Hinduism etc, you guys do not know anything about history, all the ten Gurus were Hindus.
As for this TAJ guy, are you sure you are not an ISI Pakistani agent pretending to be Sikh/Indian causing trouble again with Indians????
God bless my Hindustan.
I am a sikh boy, my GF is a sindhi, I am really curious as to why sindhi's get married in a Guruduwara, although in my case that is just perfect
Here she goes Sindhi....Reply her (she can lure you) and see for youself..
Hi Sindhi, I am a Jat of the Punjab. Are you aware of the Sindhi history prior to Chach at Brahman-bad? Many regards,
yes I agree fair minded.
To Sindhi Punjabi
Totally agree with you....they are people like Aunty sunny singh, Big bad Jatt, proud californian Jatt and numerous anonymouses that so sick that they have forgotten there are other religions and races in this world...and they think they are champions of their fate by belittling others...they not only have made this website disgustingly unappraochable to the fair mindedness ..but also has closed mind on the uniqueness of every religion and race...watch their text to know better...
I am a Sindhi married to a Punjabi. I found this site by accident and have to say I am disappointed by some of the messages I've seen here. To belive in one's religion strongly is admirable. To put down others and talk badly about another religion or caste is degrading to your own people. There is no need to be nasty, can't you share opinions without putting others down, or is that how you feel good about yourself?
To Tarun's original question, there are both Hindu and Muslim Sindhis. Their original home was Hydrabad Sindh, which is now a part of Pakistan. Most of the Hindu Sindhis left Pakistan for India during the partition and are now living all over the world. The Hindu Sindhis follow Hinduism as all other Hindus do. Some do follow Guru Nanak, but not all. Most of the Sindhis I know go to the Mandir just like everyone else. There are a number of web sites about Sindhis if you want to learn more. Hope this helps.

The Gurus did have the same soul. This statement can be understood as saying that There is only ONE SOUL. The Supreme soul. The Gurmukhs Merge in the ONE and the manmukhs are seperate. The Guru's were all NANAK which means "not many" "na anayk" from sanscrit. Being "not many" there are only One. As in one with the Supreme God/merged in Gods Will. They are in Union. If we subbmit to the Naam then we too are Nanak with his kirpa.

I have many sindhi friends and one of them is a great follower of Guru Nanak dev ji.He even has Guru Granth sahib ji at his home.
I feel the are nice peoples. but avoiding trouble
let me explain something. I am a punjabi bhamin. I have many sindhi freinds. One thing they all seem to have that ani thing at the end of their names. another they think of Guru nanak devji as a great sant like ravidas or sai baba. they believe in his teachings.
alot of you seem to be ignorant of the hindu dharam. in hinduism one says that to obtain enlightenment and free ones soul from the curses of reincarnation in this world of maya' one needs a true guru. there are many gurus in hinduism. one is sant shri asha ramji. he has his followers and he teaches them how to live a spiritual life in this age of kalyug.
onkaar is actually a hindu term. it means the ultimate being which is god. all hindu dieties are manifested from the same god. there is only one god but different forms. in the beginning it is written that brahma told lord vishnu and shiva that we are one . these three hold the trinity in hinduism.
Taj,
You sound very pro-white-boy... or is that pro-arab?
how is DRS pro-hindu?
please tell me....

Sangat asked to stop anti-Sikh campaign
Tribune News Service
AMRITSAR, Dec 7 — Sounding a note of warning, Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Jathedar, Akal Takht, asked the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat (RSS) and its outfits to immediately stop its campaign, which could adversely affect the distinctive separate identity of Sikhs.
In a press note on the letter head of Akal Takht, Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti has said the propaganda, which can “mislead” the Khalsa Panth, should be stopped without further delay.
This is for the first time that Jathedar, Akal Takht, has openly criticised the RSS for its “anti-Sikh” propaganda. Earlier, the Sikh conclave on May 14 had not directly name the RSS.
The Jathedar took strong exception to the report published in a local news magazine wherein an RSS leader, Mr Madanjit Singh, had challenged the history of the Golden Temple. He said it was the “figment of imagination” of the person aimed at hurting the sentiments.
The Jathedar also flayed the RSS for distributing posters all over the state wherein the “oneness of God” was distorted to equate Sikhs with Hindus, which led to resentment among Sikh masses. Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti urged the Sikh sangat not be misled by the “malicious and baseless” propaganda being launched by RSS activists.
He said the “distortion” of Sikh identity was being done under a deep-rooted conspiracy. In the past such attempts by some unscrupulous persons had pushed Punjab into turmoil for two decades.
Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi had reportedly announced that he would take up the issue of the RSS distorting Sikh history with the Prime Minister.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DRS,there are a lot of dumby Hindus and Sikhs who idol worship the Gurus.Im not aware of the Sikhs believing the Gurus had the 'same soul' but on your words its a belief of the Sikhs, and perhaps not of the Guru's.There are many quotes you can find where the Gurus strictly forbade idol worship esp. of them.Someone once told me we are not meant to keep pictures of the Gurus nor bow to them.I have seen far too many times illiterate pendus bowing and praying to their photos and I find that offensive! In the film Shaheed Udham Singh Raj Babbar is seen doing paath to Guru Gobind Singh Ji's photo and he said before his descent to Heaven 'the offspring of whosoever erects a monument in my memory shall perish'.Its not a case of aggresively confronting those Sikhs who do this but educating them like the Singh Sabha.Suffice to say,I do not idol worship the Gurus but I revere them no end and Prophets are the most convenient and likely guide and source to belief in God.Im not being offensive here but you strike me as very pro-Hindu.
TAJ,
how is that idol worshipping... it'z just like Sikhs believe that all the Gurus shared the same soul.
T,my original that. The Sant point I already understood.I just object strongly to any practice where the Gurus are idol worshipped.
Proud Fuddu,Im getting sick and tired of your shit.F. off.Sikhs love for Sikhs first and Sikhs only.
Taj,
Nah.Many of these "usual conniving hindu bastards" still live in Sindh,Pakistan and never crossed over to India. So,they are completely untouched by all this RSS propoganda.
From what I can make of sindhis is that they have Guru Nanak Dev ji as their main sant just like other hindus have Sai Baba or Prabhupada etc as their main sant.
I have a sindhi mate, but he's not all that clued up on it.He says that Guru Nanak Dev ji said "if you wish to be a hindu,be the best hindu you can be" ... and they say,by following Guru Nanak, that's the best way to be hindu.
Anyways ...
Any input from anyone would be most appreciated.
Tarun.
if they do atleast they are kind unlike your moolas who who seem to like so much. you are a bad sikh thinking himself above a religion.
Are these Hindu Sindhis the usual conniving Hindu bastards who believe Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a deity, like the Hindu devta's.
Hindus in general....
For someone uneducated about Hinduism, our worship of many dieties is not understood.
Paramatma is beyond our comprehension, and just as we cant even see in the dark , how can we be expected to simply see the supreme lord.
Some people see God in love, some in knowledge, some see it without difficulty... many however in order to understand God symbolize Paramatma in different forms, I.E. Shiva (destroyer of evil), or Saraswati (knowledge).... its just our way of associating with God.
Ek Onkar - God is one, there is one. However, everyone looks at Paramatma differently... male, female, passive, active... its all up to you... and thats the essence of our dharma.... but one who is enlightened can see it in all forms, not just Shiva, Vishnu, Parvati, etc., but also as Allah and the God of all religions.
Two Hindu prayers.. to explain our belief in Ek Onkar...
Just as all rivers flow to the same ocean, all prayers flow to the same supreme soul.
The truth is one, but the wise can see it in many ways.
The teachings of the Gurus dont conflict with Hinduism at all, they add a lot, and their teachings are very well respected by the Sindhi community and others.
Being Hindu, doesnt mean worshipping Idols, and following rituals... but you can if you want, and thats your way of attaining godhood. Being Hindu means I have the freedom to worship any deity and follow any Guru who i believe in. The ancients knowledge have been added to by others throughout history...
Thats the essence of our Santana Dharma... Eternal..
Jai Shri Rama.
I myself am Gujarati Hindu, but I believe in the teachings of the Sikh Gurus.
Am,
I have a sindhi mate, but I don't think he'd know.
I'll ask when I can ...
Sindhis too, intrigue me

Sat Shiri Akaal all ~
No one has touched this site since my last message.
Hmmmmm - This whole Sindhi thing has left me quite confused. They're hindus that believe in Guru Nanak as their man sant.Well, hindus have upto 33 million deities.Guru Nanak Dev Ji preaches "ik onkar" - meaning One God.
(Also, isn't Ik Onkar the first words of the Japji Sahib?)
Well, Guru Nanak says that there's only one God, and that's WaheGuru. Well, for Sindhis, who is their WaheGuru ? Is it Ram ? Is it Krishna ? Shiva ? Lakshmi ? And aren't some of these God's the same jot?
Like Ram and Krishna are the reincarnations of the same God ?
Could someone shed some light please ...
Thanks,
Bye,
Am.
Savraj,
Sat Shiri Akaal paaji ! Ki haal hai tuhadda ?
Glad to be back !I think, last time, there was too much hatred, too many personal insults and 'bakwaasi faltu baate', so I just left. Anyways, the other day I was thinking of this site,so I thought I'd pop in and say "hello" to everyone.
I won't be able to come on as frequently as before.I got soooo much work to do at Uni,and I even have a part-time job but I'll pop in as much as I can.
Acha, Sindhis - Oh,I thought they were Hindu Punjabi! Well, the guy I know,Raj,he speaks Punjabi pretty well! He goes to the Mandhir and goes to the Gurdwara too. He doesn't celebrate Vasakhi (well he does, but isn't supposed to) but celebrates Guru Nanak Dev ji's birthday !
Main chalee,

Ooops - I meant "main" and not "man"
I know a sindhi !!!!
His name is Raj !!!
Sindhis are HPs who believe in Guru Nanak as their man sant.
Hope that helps,
Bye,
Am.
sindhis are hindus who believe in guru nanak dev ji.
it's a more panjabi/sikh line of hinduism.
it's similar to hindus who put people like chaitanya mahaprabhu, sai baba, sri prabhupada etc as their spiritual leaders. they follow that spiritual leader's way of life and his doctrines.
Friends,Desis,Countrymen and others,
I would like to know about Sindhis. They appear to be hindus but believe in Guru Nanak.
Is there a relation between the area (Sindh in Pakistan) and the people that believe in this stlye of religion.
Could people write some stuff about their origin etc
(Thanks in advance)
