The community in West Africa mainly consists of Sindhis who migrated from South/East Africa.
Sindhis work in trade. Punjabis are scattered around West Africa and you can find about them and the overall community by calling a few people in Abuja and Accra.
Most of our visitors come mainly from Eastern Africa, specially Kenya and S Africa where Punjabis from India and Pakistan are settled in larger numbers.
Hope you have good time there but be very very careful in Nigeria. Nigerians are THE Most notorious scam artists and corrupt people and you will consider India and Pakistan as heavens if compared.

I understand you are new in the US, you miss India a lot, and of course you are looking for your friend you lost four years ago. Do you have any contact with your friend's parents? Maybe you can contact them and find out where your friend is or maybe you can contact some common friends. So, where im Ludhiana do you live?
