The sikhs are essentially vishnavas or worshipers of Hari. Their main temple is indeed called Harmandir sahib. It started by Guru Govind who was a saint and worshiper of Hari.

In later years, Guru Nanak emerged and charged these vaishnavas with the duty of protecting dharma. Thus, the sikhs are in reality, kshatriya vaishnavas and as such situated on the highest platform.

Unfortunately, present day sikhs are in a state of confusion. They haven't being able to figure their above mentioned somewhat confusing but nonetheless, perfectly valid and infinitely glorious position.

Which is why there is a unconscious shift, if only to gain identity, and one hears craziness such as Govind and Hari mentioned in the Gurugranth refers to some other entity. This has no scriptural base and should be discouraged.

I hope the above analysis will help them understand their truly unique position and help the act in this capacity.

Chapter 2. Definition of "Brahman Gold"

"Brahmin Gold" refers to the staggering wealth aquired by the Brahmans through unlawful and questionable means during the `Brahmanic Dark Ages' of Indian History, the 2500 years of Brahman rule in India from 1500 BC to 1000 AD. The illegal means included confiscation, fraud, and human exploitation in the form of forced labour and slavery, and the maintenance of the bulk of Non-Brahmins in a state of abject poverty.
-

The collective properties confiscated, looted and plundered by the Brahmins and mostly hoarded in the temples are referred to as `Brahmin Gold'. In later times, the mass death of Sudras from overwork, malnutrition and constant religious and racial persecutions led to intense labour shortages in Northern India. Hence, the Brahmins crushed the Aryan Vaishya races to the level of Sudras in order to replace the extinct Sudroids. An indication of the degradation of the Vaishya is the number of rebirths required for a Vaisya and Kshatriya to become Brahmans as described in the later Brahmanic scriptures. Thus, Indra explains to Matanga that :
A Chandella can become a Sudra only after 1000 births.
A Sudra can become a Vaisya only after 30 times that period
A Vaisya can become a Rajanya after 60 times the previous length.
A Rajanya can become a Brahman after 60 times the previous duration.

Salman Rushdie on Rama

by Suresh Naidu
The Hindutva (ie. Aryan Vaishnava fanatic) brigade has propagated Salman Rushdie as a hero for insulting Islam. `Freedom of Speech' the Brahmans cry, and call for an un-banning of the book. However, Rushdie deserves more credit for exposing the fallacies of Vaishnava fundamentlalism which so supports him. He has brought up the subject of Sita's whoredom with Ravana and Rama's drunkeness and lechery. Good. Now, using their same argument of freedom of speech, let us see what Rushdie has said about Rama and Sita ?
" Here was a lecherous, drunken Rama and a flighty (*) Sita; while Ravana, the demon-king, was depicted as an upright and honest man ; Gibreel [ Rushdie himself ] is playing Ravana, ' Georgr explained in fasinated horror. `Looks like he's trying deliberately to set up a final confrontation with religious sectarians, knowing he can't win, that he'll be broken to bits.' "
-- { `The Satanic Verses', p.539. }
" (*) flighty : "Easily excited", "easily aroused sexually." Does not mean "full of flight," as one running away from illicit sexual advances, but as one who is sexually frivolous and irresponsible."
Deedat sums up the Satanic Verses' picture of Rama and Sita :
" Rama the 7th incarnation of god [ Vishnu ], according to the Hindu religion, venerated and worshipped by hundreds of millions of Hindus in India, is character assassinated as a lecher, one given to excessive sexual cravings and debauchery, and the demon-king is portrayed here as a righteous man. And Sita is painted as a flirt. This is typical of Rushdie."

We demand the same "freedom of speech" for Rushdie now. Hence, Salman Rushdie deserves praise for exposing the truth about Rama, the murderer-god of the fanatic Vaishnava religion.

Mafia financing 60 pc Bollywood Movies

Mumbai police reveals another dark secret
MUMBAI, JAN. 7. Leading stars Ms. Rani Mukherjee and Ms. Preity Zinta are likely to be ``interviewed'' by police and a few more arrests are expected within a couple of days in connection with alleged links between Bollywood and the underworld, a top Mumbai police official has said. The nexus between the underworld and Bollywood is slowly crystallising with an ``astonishing evidence'' indicating that about 60 per cent of the films are financed by mafia dons, the official said on condition of anonymity. As many as 20 films released recently are suspected to have been financed by the underworld don, Chhota Shakeel, who allegedly forced many stars into signing movies and rescheduling their shooting dates, he told PTI here. Since the arrest of Mr. Nizim Rizvi, producer of the unreleased film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, allegedly financed by Chhota Shakeel of the notorious Dawood Ibrahim gang, Crime Branch sleuths had got a lead and were now zeroing in on more ``go- betweens'' in the film industry, he said. ``A few more arrests within a couple of days are expected''. Ms. Mukherjee and Ms. Zinta, who starred in Mr. Rizvi's film, would be interviewed to know whether they were aware of the producer's alleged mafia connections. Mr. Rizvi, who was arrested on December 13 under various sections of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), has been charged with entering into a criminal conspiracy with Chhota Shakeel to eliminate eminent film personalities, including producer, Mr. Rakesh Roshan, who was attacked last year in an alleged extortion bid. The Mumbai Crime Branch, led by the Joint Commissioner of Police, Mr. D Sivanand, has effected two arrests in the case so far, and interrogated Mr. Salman Khan, who also acted in Mr. Rizvi's film. The Rizvi case assumes significance for the reason that police have claimed to have clinched `concrete evidence' for the first time about Bollywood's nexus with the underworld which was suspected for long. The Rizvi statement has thrown a flood of light on the modus operandi of mafia which has been forcing directors, producers and actors into coercion, with the police claiming to be in the possession of a transcipt of a telephonic conversation between the arrested producer and the Karachi-based underworld don, the official said ... Mr. Rizvi, once a clap man who was paid Rs. 1,000 a month rose to become assistant producer, making some `B' and `C' grade films and later shot into limelight with the Rs. 12.7 crores budget Chori Chori Chupke Chupke which featured Mr. Salman Khan, Ms. Rani Mukherjee and Ms Preity Zinta. Police believe the money came from Chhota Shakeel and they claim to have sufficient evidence to prove that Mr. Rizvi had acted as a front man for the underworld don. But the film's financier, Mr. Bharat Shah, maintained that he had financed through recorded payments. Mr. Rizvi also allegedly threatened actor-producer Mr. Ajay Devgan's secretary to reschedule the opening of Raju Chacha, which clashed with his film's release. It is alleged that Mr. Rizvi had used Shakeel to pressure stars to act in his films and forced many distributors to reschedule their films to get maximum profit for himself. Film producer, Mr. Harish Sugandh, brother of producer, Mr. Jhamu Sugandh, has been summoned to city police headquarters and is likely to be quizzed tomorrow in connection with financing of his recent film, police sources said here today. Earlier, police recovered some documents and diaries from the producers' office here, the sources added. - PTI

Among the main deities worshiped in India is Shiva, god of destruction. He is said to have been a shaman who lived before 1000 b.c.e. and brought cannabis down from a mountain. A popular form of worshipping Shiva is to smoke charas in a chillum, a straight pipe smoked through the hands (to prevent contagion). The chillum is first touched to the forehead with the mantra, "Boom Shiva".

The Hindi film industry is a veritable sewer and safe haven for criminals, gangsters and mass murderers. As the Indian Express correctly states, the overwhelming majority of Hindi films produced are funded by various mafias, hired killers, underground terrorist organizations and hardcore criminal gangsters. Little wonder then, that the prime objective of these films is to glorify the outlaw, the bandit and the murderer, to idolize the law of the gun and to legitimize the life of the killer. Hence, as upholders of peace and democracy,Remember, when you buy a ten-rupee ticket, most of these rupees end up in the coffers of a killer who financed the film. Make no mistake - you are paying money to a professional gang of murderers. Worse still, when you view Hindi films you are funding them of your own free will; nobody is forcing you to watch this filth.
Persons not belonging to the Hindiwallah community should boycott Hindi films as the money earned by the Hindiwallah film industry mostly ends up financing various mafias and criminal gangsters whose sole aim is to annihilate non-Hindi civilizations from the face of the Earth. Just see what has happened to Bombay. It was once a peaceful Marathi town which had been subtantially built up by the British. After waves of immigration by Hindiwallas from the overpopulated and mainly illiterate cow-belt, it was soon transformed into a safe haven for savage killers and gangsters galore. The indigenous Marathi population was reduced to a minority as the baby-booming Hindiwallas out-bred the Marathis, eventually transforming Bombay into the crime capital of India.

RAIDED THE DELHI HOUSE AND office of V. BALASUBRAMANIAN, a top executive in India's blue-chip Reliance Industries, on suspicion of his links with Dawood Ibrahim, an Indian Dubai-based smuggler charged with plotting a wave of bombings in Bombay in 1993. The Oct. 29 raids occurred 11 days after police arrested Romesh Sharma, a Delhi businessman allegedly associated with Ibrahim. Police say Balasubramanian used Sharma as a conduit to Ibrahim.

THE HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA MOVEMENT

This group is now attracting hundreds of drug addicts in the U.S. and THE WEST. Like the Hindu Saints (Sanyasis) of Kashi (Varnasi) they smoke and take drugs in all sorts of different forms. A UNI press report (15-8-1987) said, under the heading of "SECT CHIEF IS CONVICTED KILLER". - that the Hare Krishna's chief is a convicted killer and drug dealer. The swami, 38 year old Thomas Drescher, is imprisoned at the West Virginia state penitentiary for gunning down Steven Bryant, 33, in Los Angeles. Drescher was also convicted in 1979 for manufacturing and distributing drugs and was found guilty in January 1983 of slaying a Krishna devotee. Finally the report concludes that since 1977, seven of the original I I gurus named by the HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA movements founder have been removed for reasons ranging from CHILD abuse, DRUG dealing and SEXUAL promiscuity. O Ramacandra, these scriptural injunctions were laid down by learned men, skilled in inducing others to give, and finding other means of obtaining wealth, thus subjugating the simple-minded. Their doctrine is 'Sacrifice, give in charity, conse- crate yourselves, undergo austerities, and become ascetics'. 0 Rama, be wise, there exists no world but this, that is certain! Enjoy that which is present and cast behind thee that which is unpleasant! Adopting the principle acceptable to all, do thou receive the kingdom offered thee by Bharat (Ramayana, Ayodhya Kanda, 108).
