DARE TO FAIL

This mission is dedicated to all the millions of people who have tried and failed in whatever they have attempted; to those who have still not achieved the things they want in life; to those who have climbed to great heights but have fallen; to the multitudes who have suffered greatly in their journey through life. In a world where material achievement is being equated to 'success', many people give up, become very disappointed, some even commit suicide when they fail to get what they want. What these people fail to know is that in the lives of all the world's greatest achievers lie a path laden with many mistakes, set backs, disappointments and failures. But these stories are seldom told. Failing is considered Taboo!

Now for the 1st time in the world, a book has revealed it all - DARE TO FAIL

For too long we have listened to success stories, now let's listen to the other side of the success story. Who then is the best person to share this inspiring message other than Mr. Billi Lim, the world's first Failure Guru and No. 1 Best-selling author.

Billi, currently Asia's top speaker, is a highly sought after motivational & inspirational speaker whose current speaking circuit covers Malaysia, India, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and USA.

I'm a designer. For me my creativity earns me money. How 'bout this? ;)
I don't think its like some cultures are creative in India and some not. Every culture is creative in its way. Punjabis live a cheerful life along with hard work as far as I know. ;)
I think the topic meant the word 'art', and not 'creativity'.
Talking about art, yeah it can be seen more in other cultures as Bengali. But then their lifestyle, approach towards life, is different. Punjab has a lively culture. And there are always good artists upcoming, but their number is not as large as the IT-professionals today. Is it sad? I don't think so. Artists are born, I believe, they can't be made in any art-school. But today even the same artist goes for an IT-related career. So that again filters the artists. Only a few are left: 'highly talented' (or 'highly fortunate'). (Survival of the fittest!) But that's how it is everywhere in the world.

Dear D Designer

All creativity is ART and all art is finer creativity that appeases mind.

There is creativity everywhere, however it may not have larger outlets.

I think excess in life is always essential for greatness. Robert F Kennedy -
"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly."

Agreed but it always comes at a cost my firend. Excess of anything will lead to a deficit or so to speak of something else!! All depends in what you want in life, i guess. But yes to reach the top in anything, Excess is required and sacrifices have to be made hence.

this is a pretty good topic.
i would say everything is important in its place.you need money to live on ,you need creativity to let your emotions out.excess of everthing is bad for worldly affairs, but excess of anything is good for something else.without excessive effort you can't reach anywhere.for an idiot everything in moderation is good , that is budha's law.for a scholar or a spiritual person, it is the excess which counts.you can't achieve what you want without excessive effort. so take it the way you like
