it is ur futile execise.U should write it in urdu rasm ul khat.It is modern joke with punjabi.but also there is no detail of any thing.once again i can say it is ur futile execise.I myself a punjabi but dislike ur style of expretion.leave english and adopt pujabi, which is the language of our sufias. There is everything in punjabi literature.we should prefer it than other languages.sindhi like sindhi balochi like its own, but sorry to say punjabi like urdu and english.if u love with waris shah,Baba farid, mian muhammad bakhsh and bhullay shah.be punjabi.any thing which u can find from punjabi not from other literatures of the globe.being a punjabi u must change ur style of expretion.ur motto should be to promote this language not degrade.Read, learn teach and even preach punjabi. never mind.

Punjab or any other state in india for that matter is most enjoyable in the villages, where things seem relaxed, far less heat, specially if your surrounded by lush green farms "khet." It's very beautiful, and the people tend to be very hospitable. One tip is don't take your "western standards" along with you, when you go to India, you'll have more fun with an open mind, and just enjoying the people and place.

Take a look in the mirror Bawa..you creature of the swamps..why are you on a Punjabi site if you dont like Punjabis??..Dumby!!!

By babe on Thursday, August 24, 2000 - 12:10 am:

Punjabis are the most untalented nation of this earth. They have done only to damage both India and pakistan. In India the other provinces have literally fucked their arses so they have no power at all (but arshole gaddars like kapil Dev are still there who are literally ••••••• India). While in Pakistan these bastards have literally destroyed the country. The army started hate campaign against India 50 years ago and a ••••••• stupid Kashmir dispute (which are punjabi brethrens)...these motherfuckers have destroyed the country!

You are the most selfish, corrupt, nepotist, and arrogant nation of the world that is not only mindless but also totally ignorant and stupid!!!!

If you are a punjabi going to India do not tell any of your punjabi friends because they will load you with crazy stuff for their relatives back home and their relatives will load you with everything from gur to pinis when you are coming back.

Man these people use you like rented mule

By Charn Kaur on Thursday, October 14, 1999 - 5:48 am:

The best thing to do when you go to India is to go to your PIND! It is the most anazing experience you will ever have. I cam back from mine saying that I wanted to live out there.

Punjab is the nicest place to visit - especially for you girls out there that love wearing your Punjabi attire! I went there to shop for my Daaj (dowry)and believe me eveybody was dead impressed at my wedding outfit!

Common Travelling TIPS

FLIGHTS

The ideal is to book or arrange your flight schedules in advance from your country of residence.
Please try to make the best calculations you can to plan your trip so that you may not have to modify your return plans to avoid any waste of time.

However, if you have to change your flight for return or you miss your flight, please do call the airline much in advance to inform them and get a new reservation.
Since flights are usually few and full, in most cases, it is very convenient to reserve in advance.
In most countries including India and Pakistan, the local airline offices are run by computer networks but many times the system may be down and they may ask you to come in person to get the confirmation 'sticker' on your physical ticket. This is stupid and annoying but to avoid that you better call in advance to CONFIRM and even if you have a confirmed flight reservation, DO call them to RECONFIRM prior to 3 or 4 days of your departure.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

AIR

Now there are many local and regional airlines and they do have very convenient flight times.
The prices are very low.
Please do inquire it from some local travel agent who is familiar with these services.

ROAD

It is ideal if you can arrange to have some friend or family pick you up in a vehicle or a rented cab or 'hired vehicle' and you can pay them upon arrival as it will be always cheaper and more convenient.

However, you may also make your own arrangement easily by contacting a local travel agency and get a written rate confirmation on long distance car trip.

If the trip is short haul, you may get that upon your arrival. In most airports now, they have a pre-paid taxi calling service where you pay a fixed price for your destination, which is very very reasonable and low, and prepay, and may pay a tip upon the end of your trip as taxi drivers do expect some tip.

GOING TO LONGER DISTANCE

In DELHI, now there is a luxury bus service, which was strated last year, run by some family in Canada or USA, which pick you up at the airport and drops you at your village or town or city of your choice.
We will try to get details of this service soon and post it.
We heard it was a unusually convenient service.

CAR SERVICE

Most travel operators can arrange a car trip in luxury cars. Renting and driving your own car may not be a good idea.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

If you are unable to find any direct transport from the airport:

From Delhi airport go to ISBT - Interstate Bus Terminus, situated in the Old Delhi [about 45/60 minutes from the international airport] - and inquire for any of your destinations.
Buses of Haryana, Himachal, Punjab and Delhi transport companies ply regular routes to virtually all major cities. Usually there are good services and connections are available.

Will write more...
