Punjabis have been agrarian people.
Today with education and investment people have found new ways to make a living and with evolution, the cities are growing faster than ever and villages are being abandoned.

Punjabi village in India or Pakistan remain more or less similar. There are some important differences however in Pakistan and Indian villages and that is no of schools and basic facilities.

Once people leave for urban areas or migrate to other countries they simply forget their native land and dont anything to enrich it with their experience or investment.

In most cases, people talk very fondly about my pind but do hardly a thing.

This is quite sad.
Time has come when we should start give a fresh look at our countryside and hinterlands.

Please write your experiences, your last trip there and improvements you found and any new ideas to make life easier...

It was something like this:

the woman said: "twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are" in English tone...

the man said in Punjabi way: "Oye twinkle twinkle little balle balle balle balle how I wonder whatt you are"

then the woman said, "what?"

and the man said,"Seeda kardu batt baby, you mem pascham di, te mai purab da Jatt baby..."
